A Word about our Breakfast Program

When children have breakfast at school they do better:

• attention is enhanced
• attendance is improved
• tardiness declines
• cognitive abilities increase
• nurse visits decrease
• discipline problems are reduced

Busy families often don't make time for breakfast, and hectic morning schedules can cut breakfasts short. And hungry children - regardless of socioeconomic status - are not as successful at school.

We want to give students the best possible environment to learn and grow. That's why we offer a breakfast program. Students can purchase nutritious breakfast items such as bagels with cream cheese, muffins, breakfast sandwiches with eggs, Smuckers Uncrustables, yogurt, cereal, granola bars, milk, juice and fresh fruit.

So, if you don't have time to prepare breakfast at home, you can still start the day off right with a nutritious breakfast at school.
